Crossing the Driveway
My Dad came up with this idea and it was one of the last projects he designed and worked on before his passing. He used 2" x 2" Angle Iron bolted together as shown in pictures. Then stripped a 2X12 x14' treated deck board to use for the inside and outside of the crossing. We have had dump trucks, cranes and garbage trucks drive over the crossing and no damage at all. The project cost about $200 for the steel, wood and hardware.
